It seems like a long time since I posted on my blog, I somehow have some time to sit on the back porch and relax, doesn't seem like this happens very much so I thought this is a good time to share  about our get away to Amish Country to see my grandma and aunt Norma. We spent our nights at David & Crystal Hershberger Home for the weekend, they were a great couple to stay with, there home was a former Amish house which they had electric hooked back up but they still had oil lamps still hanging on the walls,They made a wonderful breakfast every morning.We went to church Sunday morning at Zion Mennonite church where my grandma goes then a family asked us over for dinner, oh what a awesome tasting meal!!potato casserole, meat ball dish, salad, mixed fruit, homemade bread, brownies & cookies!then we went to my cousin Nathaniel's house to have a family get together & cookout we had so much fun:)!so relaxing to be in a slower pace of life to see all the rolling hills and watch the horse and buggies go by,not to mention we saw a group of 6 horse and buggies racing down the road!Mon.spent the afternoon with Grandma & aunt Norma. Must say we had a great time!Now a  busy life again, baking for 2 markets, keeping the house up and tending to the family's needs, keeps mommy hopping ! Won't be long and school will be starting! Seems like the summer is going by so fast but I guess that's what happens when you are so busy!
